Carl Rogers.

Hello, my name is Deborah and I'm here to help you.

Reaching out for support can feel like a big step, and you’ve already taken the first one by being here.

I offer a calm, confidential and supportive space where you can talk openly about whatever issues you’re struggling with right now. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck or just unsure about where to turn, you no longer need to cope alone.

My counselling practice is based in Wivelsfield Green, within easy reach of Haywards Heath, Burgess Hill and Lewes. My counselling room is quiet, cosy and private with its own entrance and plenty of street parking nearby.

If you’re thinking about counselling or just want to know more, I’d love to hear from you. You’re welcome to get in touch; every enquiry is treated with care and confidentiality.

YOUR EXPERIENCE

Are you having more bad days than good days? You’re trying to cope with the challenges of daily life, and that’s before you add in the emotional issues that you’re trying your best to deal with. Are you always worried that an anxiety attack could be lurking around the next corner? Or that your feelings of sadness or depression might lead you to want to hide away from the world, leaving you feeling isolated and alone? Sounds stressful. I know how you’re feeling; I work with people just like you. I’ll teach you effective practices that alleviate the pounding chest and feelings of panic. I’ll help you to understand the underlying causes of your depression to alleviate your suffering. I work with others too who are struggling in relationships, trying to manage stress, or coping with the distress of grief.

Anxiety and depression now rate as the leading issues affecting those searching for support. Maybe that’s you? Or you could be struggling with bereavement, relationships, anger, to name just a few. Are you feeling stuck and want to change? Or perhaps, address a deeper issue and don’t know where to start. Taking that first step can feel daunting and I’d like to help. I’m an experienced Humanistic Counsellor and support people just like you, struggling with these and other issues.
